myEchat System requirements

|
System requirements for the myEchat software are simple. You need an online store using X-Cart, myEbiz or Magento, MySQL and Apache modules mod_rewrite and mod_proxy.

1. Shopping cart/ ecommerce platform
|
The Shopping cart and ecommerce platform required are Xcart, myEbiz and Magento, see below for versions:
- X-cart versions: 4.1.x, 4.2.x, 4.3.x, 4.4.x
- myEbiz versions: any version
- Magento versions: 1.1.x, 1.2.x, 1.3(4,5,...).x,

2. MySQL
|
MySQL is a relational database management system (RDBMS) and probably the world's most popular open source database.
The web hosting server has to have support for MySQL databases. our chat software is compatible with MySQL versions from 3.23 to 5.x.

3. Space requirements
|
A fresh installation of myEchat requires 5 megabytes of disk space. You will also need some disk space for all cache data, image files and database sql tables. You should
be ready to allocate 6 Mb of disk space, that would include database space as well.
Please note that the database space required will increase with time as the
database saves all your site visits as well as chat transcripts data. However even for heavy traffic website you should not need more than 4Mb per year.
