The 'Featured products' dialog box is a section that is used as a way to promote a list of products. That section is displayed on the Home page as well as category pages.
It allows you to bring more exposure to some of the products of your store.
Editing the ‘Featured products’ section of the home page
Adding or editing the Home 'Featured products' section is done on the main Category interface page. To start adding or editing the 'Featured products' section of the Home
page select the option 'Categories' from the ’PRODUCTS’ menu section:
The main category page will display, scroll down to the ‘Featured products’ section interface:
To add a new product, click on the [Browse...] button, find and select a product and then click the [Add new] button. With this interface you can also delete and or change
the position (‘Pos’) of a product within the ‘Featured products’ section.
Editing the ‘Featured products’ section of a category or subcategory page
To edit the ‘Featured products’ section of a category or subcategory page, the process is the exact same. On the main category page, click on the name of category to go in
that category edit page and then scroll to the bottom of the page where the ‘Featured products’ interface is located.
